David Johnson leads the Esprit Benefits team with a company strategy and a wealth of experience. After graduating high school in Phoenix, AZ, David joined the Army in 2000. He served for over six years, completing three combat deployments to Iraq in a Special Operations role and is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute.
Following his military service, David earned his degree from Arizona State University and embarked on a career in the insurance industry. In his early years, he developed a deep understanding of the mechanics of insurance, including underwriting processes, cost-reduction strategies, employee benefit communication strategies and more.
Today, David and the Esprit Benefits team focus on educating business owners about healthcare and employee benefit strategies. He also enjoys working with individuals and families to demonstrate the value of life insurance.
